About the role

A clinical assessor is an experienced vaccinator who has completed additional training and is authorised/approved by their local Medical Officer of Health.

Clinical assessors work across a locality to assess new vaccinators' clinical skills and competency. The clinical assessment is part of the training and authorisation pathway and determines if the new vaccinator is competent.
