This report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the Crown Entities Act 2004 and includes copies of final financial statements and additional information necessary to enable an informed assessment to be made of the progress of Te Aka Whai Ora | Māori Health Authority against its strategic intentions and Statement of Performance expectations

As a disestablished entity Te Aka Whai Ora | Māori Health Authority was required under the Public Finance Act (S45J) to provide its final Annual Report to the Minister of Health within three months of its disestablishment (30 September 2024). The report was presented to the House of Representatives on 14 October 2024.

Te Aka Whai Ora was formally disestablished on 30 June 2024 when the Pae Ora (Disestablishment of the Māori Health Authority) Act 2024 came into force.
