The Statement of Intent describes our intended direction and goals over the medium-term four-year period, 2024-2028. Publishing a Statement of Intent is a requirement of all Crown entities, including Health New Zealand, under the Crown Entities Act 2004.
The document outlines our key priorities, how we will assess our own performance against those priorities, and how we plan to develop our organisation to enable us to achieve them. The document is one of the ways in which we can stay open and accountable to the public.
The Statement of Intent should be read together with the Statement of Performance Expectations 2024-25.
