Annual reports are a core reporting requirement under the Crown Entities Act 2004. They provide government and the public with a substantive report on how we have progressed with achieving our objectives and how we have used our funding.

Crown agencies are statutorily required to prepare annual reports to monitor agencies on their performance. It is a key accountability document. Prior to the establishment of Te Whatu Ora, on 1 July 2022, the Annual Report was published by Manatū Hauora – the Ministry of Health and by individual DHBs.
