Background reports

The following report reviews the current international status in relation to bowel (colorectal) screening, examines feasibility/pilot studies that have been conducted, and looks at the information a pilot would provide New Zealand, provides an outline pilot design, and outlines the work that needs to be done prior to a pilot including an indicative timeline.

These UK Standards are based on the outcome of the English and Scottish bowel screening pilot evaluation.They are intended to be a working document that will be reviewed and revised as needed.
