The Minister of Health Volunteer Awards have taken place since 2013 and have recognised several thousand people for their significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of our communities. They are an opportunity for us to celebrate and pay tribute to those committed and generous volunteers who play a huge part in supporting our health system.
Health Minister Shane Reti, and Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey, have announced the recipients of the 2024 Minister of Health Volunteer Awards. Seven outstanding individuals and organisations have been recognised for their contributions.
The winners will travel to Parliament in early 2025 for a celebration with both Ministers.
